Our team played extremely well throughout the tournament with a very tough group from the beginning! We started with 1 win 1 draw and 1 loss in the group stage, we finished second in our group and went through to the semi finals where we would face St Fidelis. Belmont come out 2-1 winners with some superb team work from our defence keeping out a very good team.
Onto the final, another great fixture against Burnt Oak, both teams were brilliant and with Belmont taking an early lead through a penalty, Burnt Oak did really well and piled on the pressure till the end of the game and they came out the winners.
Our Belmont year 6 boys football team came out 2nd place overall and played extremely well throughout the day, another amazing achievement for our school! Well done boys!
