We were excited to open our doors to our parents and carers for our open afternoon last week and it was a huge success! Our fabulous teaching team organised it this year with a theme entitled 'Explore the World'. It offered a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to learn about different cultures and traditions from around the world and engage in a range of activities alongside their parents/carers.
Our wonderful PTA took the opportunity to hold ‘A Duty Free’ market on the playground after our open afternoon had finished, where they will sold items and food from around the world. The funds raised from this event have gone towards supporting school projects and initiatives to benefit our pupils including resources linked to our curriculum, our library bus and texts to support reading and writing.
