Our VI resource provision went on a very exciting trip recently to the Royal Observatory. During their trip they learnt about the observatory itself and why it’s so important, experienced an audio universe Planetarium show about the planets (using sound and pitch to denote how the planets travel around the sun) and then the children had the opportunity to create their own planets using tactile materials and felt the examples provided.
