At Belmont we love to take our learning outside when the weather allows and here is an example of the children exploring different reflection lines and lines of symmetry in the sun!

Our VI resource provision went on a very exciting trip recently to the Royal Observatory. During their trip they learnt about the observatory itself and why it’s so important, experienced an audio universe Planetarium show about the planets (using sound and pitch to denote how the planets travel around the sun) and then the children had the opportunity to create their own planets using tactile materials and felt the examples provided.

Please find attached the presentation providing more information about year 6’s residential to Hooke Court in Dorset.

Children's University lunchtime club has been a huge success!
